Volunteer CIC

United Way is preparing to allocate the funds raised in our 2019 annual campaign.  Our partner agencies have submitted applications for client-centered projects and we are in need of volunteers to review the applications, discuss needs with agency representatives, and help make funding recommendations.

Our review and panel process promises to be a rewarding experience for our volunteers.  Normally, we ask that each volunteer commits to a one-hour training luncheon, time to review the application, and an hour-and-thirty-minute site visit at an agency facility.  However, this year we will be keeping a safe distance from one another and conducting our training and review processes online. Volunteers may review one agency, or more if they wish.

Below, please find a Volunteer Profile Sheet to be filled out and returned to the United Way office by March 31.  Please forward this link and the profile to any colleagues, employees, and all other potential volunteer panelists.  If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please feel free to call us at 270-886-8171.

Your continued support of United Way and our partner agencies is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for generously donating your time and talents!

Sincerely,

United Way of the Pennyrile
