Community Resource Fair Participants Sought
The United Way of the Pennyrile is partnering with West Kentucky Workforce Board to host a Community Resource Fair in conjunction with the Job Expo for Ebonite employees and other job seekers on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at The Bruce Convention Center, Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The event will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As you may be aware, Ebonite closed their facility on Friday, November 15, 2019.

United Way Launches Coalition to Help Those Impacted By Government Shutdown
Alexandria, VA (Jan. 11, 2019) United Way Worldwide today announced that it will lead the formation of the United for U.S. coalition, a joint effort by corporate partners, organized labor, the United Way network and nonprofits to assist furloughed federal workers and others impacted by the ongoing government shutdown.
