The United Way of the Pennyrile is committed to its mission and by extension the missions of those organizations it funds. Program for this purpose is defined as "a set of related activities directed at common or closely related purposes to which a meaningful portion of the agency's resources are dedicated to achieving." Note that you are being asked to apply for funding for a specific program or programs versus a general budget. This will provide United Way with a way to measure the results of allocated dollars and to provide an optimum value of service delivery to our donors.
